Opened in 2006 in the heart of Budapest, Inda Gallery exhibits, sells and promotes contemporary art in the widest range of media: painting, drawing, sculpture, installation, video, photography and others.

The exhibition program is developed by an in-house team of art historians and invited experts with the aim of presenting new trends as well as their historical context. We show new works and the oeuvres of established Hungarian and international artists and young talents (including Polish, Bulgarian, Slovak, Czech, Indian and more), in solo shows and group exhibitions.

Beside exhibitions in its exhibition space and the project room, since its early days, Inda has participated in international art fairs (Art Dubai, FIAC, VOLT NY, Arte Fiera, Art Karlsruhe, ViennaFair, Photo Fever, Art Market Budapest and others), and has cooperated with other galleries in bringing contemporary art to the public, collectors and institutional buyers.

  • In a public vote called by the leading Hungarian art periodical, Műértő, Beyond the Obvious - Contemporary Women Artists from Central and Eastern Europe, a joint show of Inda Gallery, Deak Erika Gallery and Viltin Gallery held in September-October 2015 was voted the contemporary exhibition of 2015 in Hungary.

  • In 2015, Boulin Artinfo listed Inda among the 500 best galleries in the world.

  • Also in 2015, The Culture Trip mentioned three of Inda's artists, Marianne Csáky, Lajos Csontó and Balázs Kicsiny among the top 10 contemporary artists in Hungary, and listed Inda among the 10 must-see galleries in its Budapest Local Favorites section.
